So after only a couple nights at Chang Mai which was a shame as its such a beautiful place, but remember on a time scale there's priorities you have to make, do what you what to do! So my plan was to head south to the islands while Chloe an Maddie wanted to do the north... This is where we departed after 4months of being together... A sad sad day but I'm looking forward to seeing them in Singapore in a couple of days to trade some amazing stories!
Anyways do Nick, Harry, Lucas and I got on the bus after the flight of the gibbons, what a bus journey it was, Harry didn't lie when they play a movie that loud you can't hear what's going on below in the luggage compartment, which I must add was bigger than what we were sitting in, even had beds! Suspicious I hear you say... Well yes it was a horrible bus with me actually having a nightmare on the bus and then not sleeping.... We all had packed rushed leaving Chang Mai so our bags were a mess! Harry said to check straight after you get of the bus so we did, my bag has never been packed so perfect, In fact they did that good a job I've copied there packing technique since! But we were all missing a few things... The main loss was underwear... If we walked on Sao kan road we'd probably see then for sale! Anyways so after no sleep we ventured to this famous road in the early morning... Spotless with people cleaning... Another night in Bangkok had occurred... As does every night!
There are so many stories I would love to talk about Bangkok but it mainly consisted of stories you 'mature' adults would not want to know, hence the famous phrase 'what happens in Bangkok, stays in Bangkok'. But what I can tell you is how literally 24/7 the street is hustling and bustling the whole time, you name it you can get it! From tazers to laser pens that burn through most materials, clothes and the ever street food ever! So it consisted of trying to shop, failing as to many options and partying hard!
Nick and I did go see the largest reclining Buddha in the world and the grand palace, which was quite spectacular! The Buddha is 47long and 15m high! Then we went and sat in silence for 30mins you could say meditating which was nice and really peaceful!
Nick and I had a bus home after our 3rd night which was sad as the 4 boys had just turned up... So we had a final couple of towers, said goodbye but we saw them later on at the islands! Also to leave us was Lucas the Swede, what a guy and cannot thank him enough for the fun we had for around 3weeks and its another goo friend met! But most of all it was goodbye to Harry... Obviously I had done the whole of south east Asia with him so tears were nearly spilled, but will see him in a few weeks time while he ventures of to the Philippines! Must say I'm very jealous!
So then there were two......
